My Galápagos Holiday runs mygalapagosholiday.com, an independent Galápagos trip-planning site. You can reach us through our contact page.

Information you give us

When you use our trip planner or contact form, we collect what you enter: name, email, phone (optional), travel dates, budget, preferences and any message. We use it to reply and to plan and quote your trip.

Information collected automatically

Attribution data. When you first arrive, we store the page you landed on, the referring site and any campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or gclid) in a first-party cookie and your browser’s local storage for 90 days. If you send a form, this is included so we know which pages and ads help travelers.

Analytics and advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and may use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which ads lead to inquiries. Both use cookies.

Security. Our host and security tools log IP addresses and request data to protect the site and block spam.

How we share information

We don’t sell your personal information. When you ask us to plan or book a trip, we share the details needed with the cruise operators, tour companies or travel partners involved. Service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) process data on our behalf.

Affiliate links

Some pages link to Amazon and travel insurance providers. If you click one, that company may set its own cookies to credit us for a purchase. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking information as long as needed to plan your trip and meet legal and accounting requirements. Attribution cookies expire after 90 days.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information through our contact page, and block or delete cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have more rights under local law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
